Yesterday was glorious. With warm weather and sunshine, Ellsworth by my side and a bed of straw in which to lay under the goat port, what more could I need, you ask?
Oh dear, he’s feeling tropical.
No, Bernard.

What a character! Who could not have a good day with Bernard around?

I’m speechless! How cool is this guy? Definitely my daily dose of smiles.

So very adorable!

You should have called, Bernard! Had I known it was so warm up there, I would have hopped in the truck to join you. George and Alan are still asking for hot buttered rums down here.

Carson,
Too funny. I was so excited over this yesterday… it was the very first time that they didn’t get up when I went out into the pasture, which tells me that they were really enjoying the moment. Naturally, as soon as Bernard did get up, he had to put my camera strap into his mouth.

Awwww…look at that beautiful belly! Mmmm…I can practically feel the sun on my face in those photos. Very nice. Those boys sure are happy, aren’t they?
So, who lives in the upside down stock tank with the door in the side?
March 4, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Farmgirl,
You know how they freak when it rains… the stock tank gives them that one additional layer of protection if there’s a bad storm and we’re not here to get them back to the barn.
The upside down stock tank with the door in the side is for the goats, although Meggie is too fat to get into it now.

Do you think he’d mind if I took a nap with him?
March 4, 2010 at 12:25 pm
CeeCee,
I don’t think he’d mind at all.
