Beautiful, simply beautiful.
I hadn’t seen the one of the entire herd lying down together…it made my heart go pitter pat.

AWW! So cute! How did you catch your donkey drooling?
I’m considering being an alpaca farmer for a career but, I have no idea how to work with them. Did you have any experience raising donkeys when you started?

qs1998,
I spend a lot of time with the donkeys with camera in hand, so catching moments like that isn’t too terribly difficult.
No, we didn’t have any experience with donkeys when we started. We are fortunate to have friends who have donkeys (they were a huge help) and we did a lot of reading. I’m sure they have alpaca groups on Facebook; you should start there… they’re bound to be a wealth of information for you.

They are so cute! They look like they have such great fun. It sometimes makes me wish I could get another donkey pal for Led Zeppelin.
He and Chrome love each other though so that’s good enough for now.
