It’s metal. It’s shaped so it could hold FOOD if somebody would put some there. There’s no food in it. It is a useless object.
I scrolled down fully expecting to see Bernard backing up and trying to sit down. He’ll probably figure that one out soon!

Amazing. What’s old is now new. My grandparents had those same chairs on their porch. It’s called retro these days, right? I sure love nosey donkeys!
I can just picture one of them (Bernard) getting his butt wedged in there.
Looks like Nigel, in the last picture, was cleaning the seat before he planned to sit down… ;-D <3
