As you know, it’s been cold here these last few weeks. The Boyz have all been fine, but to help keep weight on Gracie and Harriet, we’ve supplemented their hay with equine senior mash a couple of times a day.
Gracie gets two cups and Harriet gets three. It’s easy enough to tell whose bowl is whose by how much is in it, but Don decided to get artsy for the girls.
Pretty bowls for pretty girls. Sunflowers for Grace (Don prefers calling her by her original name) and hearts for Harriet.
Don also thought he’d try his hand at ice sculpting:

I didn’t know Don was an artist? I think his ice sculptures are wonderful and vote “bunny” on the first one.

Me too!!! We get a warm day here or there and it makes me realize how sick I am of this cold. Love the bright colors and designs on the feed pans – better than my version…Duct tape!

Love it! I’ll bet the girls are delighted to have extra treats, although I wouldn’t want to be the one having to explain it to Bernard. I love the ice sculptures, too. They look very Inuit and therefore, fitting for your current climate.

There’s nothing wrong with girlie bowls for girls! My little girl kitty eats from a antique flowered girly bowl, easy to tell from the big fella’s. Suit’s her to a T!
