Dear George and Alan,
Cone spring training started this weekend and we want you to know we’re your biggest fans.
You’ve set the bar high, which is why we’ll be working extra hard on things like strength training and eye-mouth coordination,
and cone carry techniques…
…because we want to avoid any dropped cones. Sorry Coach!
We’ll also be working on balance…
…and of course, flexibility.
You’ve inspired us to greatness. Here’s to a great Cone season!

What is it with donks and cones anyway??? I have some out in the pasture with two geldings and two mares and they never touch them??? Is it because we use them to work with them in horsemanship, etc? They never view them as toys….

Game on, Donkey Boys! Pssst…the secret is to stomp on the cone until it gets extra flexible.

Harry and Gunny are also great competitors at the Cone Sports. They can both hang onto the small end and travel the length of their pen, some 100 feet, turn and make the return trip without dropping the cone. It’s a Pairs Competition. Unfortunately we have no photographic proof of their skills because every time I step outside, they think it’s time to eat!
