Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sit in the bottom of a feed tub? Just in case you have, The Boys of Morning Bray Farm present Suppertime.
Call me eccentric if you must, but I think I could listen to the boys eat all day long. ♥

Ha-ha-ha. GREAT view of those adorable donkey noses. I now know what it’s like to be a flake of hay!
(Tell me you really weren’t laying underneath all that while filming, were you?)

C,
I definitely wasn’t laying underneath all that while filming… I know my allergies couldn’t handle that! I set the camera down in the tub. 🙂

If I did that while Poco was eating, I’d be covered in chunky slobber. Jaz just had his teeth done, but Poco definitely need it now too.
And I like to hear them munching contentedly, too.

What a great point of view! How did you keep the camera safe? 🙂
Love looking up at their ears………..
I noticed these hydrangeas on another blog I watch: http://fibermania.blogspot.com/2010/05/am-i-blue-i-have-been-trying-to-grow.html

Vicki,
Against better judgment, I just set the camera down into the tub sans protection. Thankfully it emerged unscathed. 🙂 My biggest worry was that Bernard would eat it. 😉
Thanks so much for the hydrangeas! That last picture literally took my breath away. Holy cow, can you imagine?!

And here I thought you had sacrificed yourself at the bottom of the feed tub in the name of blogging. I still love it.

Carson,
Bernard and Ellsworth couldn’t have cared less that the camera was in the tub. On the other hand, Fergus and Nigel were initially a little freaked out by it. I can’t imagine the looks on their faces had I gotten into their tub! 🙂

Nice peaceful sound. munch munch munch munch
I’m surprised they didn’t drop more than they did!
Those ears look very different from way down there. Makes the boyz look a little like kangaroos…

June,
You’re right! I especially love the way Ellsworth looks from that perspective. You also get a good view of Bernard’s goober-face. 🙂

I know. I love to watch and hear Jack eat. I see your boys takes eating as serious as Jack does.
Your video was great!
Have a wonderful day.

OK, dingbat me was really trying to envision you sitting at the bottom of the feed tub until my husband made the comment about how neat it was that you set the camera in the bottom to get those shots. I think my way would have been a lot more fun, though!

Not eccentric at all…..there is something peaceful about listening to animals crunch away getting pure enjoyment out of getting such a basic need met. Wouldn’t it be nice if crunching on a little hay brought us that much joy!!
