This week we get to meet Keebler, Mel in N.Y.’s jack.
Here’s Keebler begging for snacks. Hi, Mel!
In this picture, Keebler is showing off for the girls.
We’ve now officially met all of Mel’s donkeys. He has quite the beautiful herd, doesn’t he?

What a cute name, too. I love how donkeys can extend their lips when they reeeally want something!

Love the first photo. It is amazing how long the neck and lips can stretch when cookies are involved.
Is there a story behind the name “Keebler”? Was he found in a hollow tree? Does he like fudge striped cookies? Is he particularly elf-like?
Inquiring minds want to know…

Keebler is adorable! And I’m always jealous when I see donkeys playing with ‘toys’. My girls won’t even look at their Jolly ball. Wah! 😉

Cathy Sorry no story with the name. I got him as a yearling with the name, and thought it was cute too! ANY cookie makes him happy!
Rosanne Yes he is my only herdsire now.
