Every September and October, the Albuquerque Maize Maze comes to life.
Don and I spent a glorious fall afternoon yesterday exploring the seven-acre corn maze. This year’s maze depicts wildlife found in Albuquerque and is called Coyote Magic.
We wandered leisurely through the maze for a couple of hours.
The maze is precisely cut by GPS technology. Very cool.
Morning glories were everywhere. They took my breath away.

GPS technology, huh? I’ve always wondered how they did those intricate designs. Now I know! Your a good teacher!
I love morning glories and always plant them by the patio each year. They climb my trellis and give me a beautiful wall of color from July to freeze. Which should be happening soon here in WI. 😦

If I recall correctly, morning glories were also Justina’s grandma’s favorite flowers in Meriden, Connecticut. I have, too, admired those beautiful sharp blue color of the morning glories.

Beautiful photos as always. I’ve heard that “agritainment” like the corn maze, is helping save some family farms.
We have a neat one here, but it’s quite a challenge to get through.
Of course, I get lost in a mall.

Love the morning glories (the way they glow in the center), the sky (with jet trails), the dragonfly, the corn closeup…………
I wonder if they planted the morning glories on purpose. They surely are a wonderful complement to the corn. Purple against the green/gold, small and twining against the sturdy stalks and leaves…………. Very nice.

Those blue flowers come as a contrast in the cornstalks along withsome beautiful little flowers in the background. The same goes at your home yesterday.

Thank you. I used a Canon EOS Rebel XT with a Canon EFS 17-55mm Ultrasonic lens to take these pictures.

Hey Morning Bray….the grands and Shelley were there yesterday too. Did you happen to hear a little girl screaming about hating circles and only liking squares?????? Well that little bonehead was my GK. They had a ball…..and weren’t too far off when they guessed that the chicken did it in the pumpkin patch with the stick……the goat did it…FSI, farm scene investigation.
Too funny that you were there on the same day.

Yes, too funny. If only we had known! Don kept saying the whole time that the goat did it… did you notice the goat looked “evil?” 😀
