Augusta, Beatrice, Harriet, Hiliary, Hazel, and Isabelle…I’m practicing to memorize their names and I succeeded except for the last one. So sweet when they are asleep and how I miss them…They will become beautiful ducks when they are full grown…I pray not like that picture which looked like a rare speciman on the Internet!
Oh my gawd! A ducky mosh pit. I love it. These are the most gorgeous creatures and your photos are absolutely stunning. I could stare into those eyes for days. Totally smitten.
P.S. The Frenchman has a sweet spot for Isabelle. *grin*
My first pets were two ducks. I named mine Sally and one my sister got was Peter. We had them for quite a while in our backyard. This was way before I got dogs and cats and took care of my Dad’s horses. They, ducks, have always had my heart.
Justina, I know ducklings are a lot of work and it’s hard to break away from them—but, is everything okay? It’s not like you to go so long between posts.

How did the term “ugly duckling” ever come into being? It’s just not possible.

I’ll be on the next flight to NM. Between fuzzy donkey butts to scratch, dogs to kiss and now baby ducks, I can’t resist. 🙂

So do the ladies snore? Do they dream like dogs do or are they just quiet little sleepers? They look so content and snuggly. sigh.. 🙂

I didn’t think I could ever like an animal more than a donkey but these ducklings are giving your boys a run for the money. So sweet.

There are very few things on earth cuter than a baby duck. I think only kittens give them a run for their money.

My sweet little duckies, you had best get used to being on the blog. Didn’t the recruitment officer warn you?
