Those are some wonderful memories. Our ponies also like watermelon. I love the expressions.

I tried watermelon but Ripley wasn’t interested. I’m glad your kids like it! The duckling looks like its ready to party!

I love these photos and they are some of my favorite memories, too. I’ve sent so many people the link to your angels loving watermelon and gotten happy excited emails back. Everyone loves seeing it and I saved the link and go back and look at it every once in awhile.
I enjoyed seeing your ducklings grow up and Ellsworth being a champ at training. What a wonderful guy he is.
These are great memories. I’m so glad you are doing this!

I’m not sure how I stumbled upon your blog as I live in an apartment far from any donkeys, farm, heck, I’m lucky just to see the urban wildlife. However, I have now wasted… no, wasted is not true.. I’ve now spent many hours falling in love with each and everyone one. I’ve read almost all the posts eagerly, laughing, smiling and trying to figure out if I could sneak a donkey into my apartment without the landlord finding out! I cried over the loss of Fergus and look forward to reading more of all your wonderful furry, and not so furry, family. Thank you and happy New Year to everyone.
