Beautiful, simply beautiful.
I hadn’t seen the one of the entire herd lying down together…it made my heart go pitter pat.

AWW! So cute! How did you catch your donkey drooling? 🙂 I’m considering being an alpaca farmer for a career but, I have no idea how to work with them. Did you have any experience raising donkeys when you started?

qs1998,
I spend a lot of time with the donkeys with camera in hand, so catching moments like that isn’t too terribly difficult. 🙂 No, we didn’t have any experience with donkeys when we started. We are fortunate to have friends who have donkeys (they were a huge help) and we did a lot of reading. I’m sure they have alpaca groups on Facebook; you should start there… they’re bound to be a wealth of information for you.

They are so cute! They look like they have such great fun. It sometimes makes me wish I could get another donkey pal for Led Zeppelin. 🙂 He and Chrome love each other though so that’s good enough for now.
