We celebrated a year with Harriet last week.
I believe this is what you call a “strawberry smile”:
And notice the totes adorbs blackberry kiss on Bernard’s nose:
The move from Albuquerque to Lexington seems to have had an overall positive impact on Gracie. She has really come around these last couple of weeks:
Even Meggie Moo was invited to the party:
Happy birthday to our beautiful donkey girl with her soulful eyes:

They are all so sweet! Love your new place, I think you will love living in West Virginia. I have never been, but I have been to Virginia and I fell in love with the rolling hills and valleys, just beautiful. Your land looks similar. The animals look as though they are very happy with the move! Happy New Year!

I was positive I commented on this. Go figure. The interwebs sometimes lose things. 🙂 Glad the herd enjoyed Harriot’s b-day treat. Especially glad that the move seems to have helped Gracie feel more a part of her donkey family.

Did you haul the kids to Virginia or hire a horse hauler to do it? I missed all the move and could not find details about it. This was a big move for your family of pets. It would be interesting to read a blog of the move from start to turning them into there new home. Thank you.

Ellie,
We hired an excellent horse hauler… he was so wonderful with our herd. I promise to write more about our move as soon as I can.
