As the crow flies, we live about a mile from the Maury River. Monday’s weather was beautiful, so we decided to explore the woods around our house with the goal of finding the river.
We found it!
You are witnessing Meggie Moo’s very first time on a riverbank:
Evidence of otters?
Evidence of beavers?
I kid you not. We then turned around to see the Moo doing this:
I suppose she thought the beaver was on to something…
Moo had plenty of exploring to do:
And lots to smell:
What a wonderful day.

Who’d have thought, just a year ago that Moo would be a pocket pet?
It really is gorgeous where you are.

A very belated happy birthday to Harriet…. and how cool is that taking your goat on a walk to the river! Sure is a very different environment from your last place.

Wait, rivers have WATER in them? (If you know the Rio Grande in southern New Mexico, you’ll understand my amazement!)
Love the hiking goat companion. I love everything Meggie Moo does, even the part where she ate the toilet paper at Motel 6. Especially that part.

I love Meggy Moo’s Curled top lip! Our eldest son’s nick name is Moo – but he doesn’t look like a goat!

I love that you let your animals play and explore and just be themselves without having to conform to any human standard of behaviour – within reason, of course. So glad Meggy Moo enjoyed her outing.
