Yesterday was a wonderful day. The Boyz have a new sister. She’s a BLM beauty and we’ve named her Gracie. ♥
Because I’m still weirdly emotional over Fergus’s death and 7MSN’s Carson was there with us, I asked her to tell the story. I hope you don’t mind.

What a surprise! She’s so absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to read the story. We’re all emotional over Fergus’ death, and here is some great joy to share.

I had to read her blog twice this morning, and I cried both times!
Love her name, love the story, and am still crying happy tears.
(Couldn’t believe she helped herself through the fence to say Hi to the boys!)
Congratulations to Morning Bray. She did land in Heaven on Earth, and Fergus is looking down at the plan he orchestrated. I’m sure he’s giving a happy bray in Heaven saying “Look, everyone…come gather around and take a peek at what I started!”

What wonderful news! I’m so very happy for all of you — it looks like a take-charge older woman may be just what the boyz need! (But I’m a wee bit worried about her total lack of regard for fences.) I send everyone at MBF my love and best wishes on this VERY happy day!!!

I just wanna say I cried happy tears when I read Linda’s post. I also wanna say that “weirdly” emotional is not possible. If you weren’t still emotional over Fergus….now that would be weird in my mind….. Glad you have a friend that can help you tell the story!
Gracie is beautiful….

Of course we don’t mind, Justina. Carson told the story beautifully, as always, and we understand about Fergus. Most of us readers were crying, with (bittersweet) happiness, for you and for that lucky, lucky Gracie. Good name, by the way. I can’t wait to hear what happens next!

Well, there you go again. You, Carson and the donks have made me cry to sobbing once again. Such a wonderful friend you have in Auntie Linda and it’s a good thing to rely on friends when ya need them. There is nothing wierd about grief….it just is what it is. Hard.
Maybe a little dose of sunshine in the form of a very smart, willful and gorgeous girl donk is just what was ordered for MBF..can’t wait to meet her. Welcome Gracie.

Nothing weird about it. We all understand that you need time to mourn, and to be allowed to do so in your own way for however long it takes, especially considering that your dear Fergus left so suddenly and unexpectedly.
I’m glad to see that your loss hasn’t prevented you from welcoming a new family member. Gracie, you lucky girl you, I look forward to getting to know you on these pages ❤
