I love hydrangea. Alas, I don’t think they grow in my new climate. Even dead, they’re pretty and delicate. I do think I feel a hint of spring in the air…
Not one single snowflake here this winter, but now the first snowdrops and a lot of wild crocus in my garden. Spring is on the way!
Ah the hydrangea, what a beauty, even dry and old.
Liebe Grüße,
Grandma Pia
Noticed earlier this week, after the snow from our latest storm melted, that many of our daffodils here have sprouted. Those little green sprouts always hold such promise. Come on, Spring!
I was so excited recently to see my daffodils reaching skyward through my leaf covered yard! They haven’t bloomed yet since we had some warmer days mixed in with more below freezing nights. Share more of your blooms if you can! Love your blog, thanks!
Hi guys. Just wanted you to know that you are missed out here in cyberspace. I hope that you are okay. Sending hugs and donkey good wishes from Ontario.

Still waiting for the first shoots here. At least the birds of spring are starting to come back.
