Bernard looks like he’s more worried about you taking his stick away than he is Ellsworth. Just imagine what these pictures are going to look like when that pasture of yours is green…sigh.

I love that they play like that. Have you gotten them any toys to play with like Linda has for her burro brothers? Then again, sometimes a stick is all you need. 🙂

They have a jolly ball and a bucket that they also enjoy playing with… and heaven help us if we forget to pick up their sweet feed bowls as we end up searching high and low for them the next time we need them. I think they’d play with just about anything – especially Bernard who has a need to put everything in his mouth.
