Don was home waiting for the fence guys yesterday afternoon when it started raining.
This little bird; a purple finch, didn’t seem very happy with the rain. Don saw him through the window, went outside and got a picture.
Then the boys started a ruckus. I’d say Don did a darn good job of capturing the moment.

I enjoy your pictures & videos so much, Morning Bray! Bernard & Ellsworth are delightful! What a good home they have! Oh, and what are those birds in the video background this morning? Turkeys? Sandhill Cranes?

Good job, Don. Bernard sure seems to take advantage of his height disadvantage out there in the ring – I’d score that round as a tie.

The donkey dance video is interesting. You can see some of the moves they use in play that they use when they are in real attack mode, like going for the throat. I loved all the birdsong that is in the background.

It always seems so strange to me to see donkeys in action and have them be silent.

Totally excellent pics, Don! And I agree with earlier posts – the bird sounds in the background are lovely! They remind me of childhood mornings on the eastern shore 🙂

My sis has horses and mini donkeys. I’m not wild about horses, but for some reason donkeys capture my heart… I think because they are so darned playful.

Loved the video! Those boys are even cuter “in person” than they are in photos, if that’s possible!

That’s one thing donkey’s have over horses, they love to play alot no matter their age. People often wish puppies would stay puppies, well that is what we say we have in our little donkey, he’ll always be like that cute fun little baby. My horse is so patient with this, humoring the donkey just enough for him to then go play by himself, one day I’ll have to get him another donkey companion.
