Oh, the wind. I never knew it could be the way it is here. Some days it’s relentless.
Like yesterday. Oy. According to the National Weather Service, gusts in the valley where we live reached as high as 74 mph.
Fergus and Nigel don’t seem too affected by it.
Neither do Bernard or Ellsworth. As is always the case, wind or no wind, they’re in line ready for dinner before it’s served.
Don’t worry Mom. There’s no place like home.

I saw on the news that bad winds were in your, and Carson’s, area. We’ve had a windy spring here, but nothing like what you’ve had. Glad the burro’s don’t mind it and love to see their playtime.

I have developed a ‘wind nerve’. It’s true, it can happen. Friends of mine in the Rockies got it last year. This has been the windiest spring in over 20 years but I think it was the 65 mph gusts Wednesday night that finally got the nerve going. Yep…. pushed me right over the edge….

We didn’t gust up to 74mph here yesterday, but our wind was relentless nonetheless. The sound gets inside my head and I want to find a hole to hide in.

Wow – love that shot of the tree. I could practically feel the wind in that shot!
Fergus and Nigel look so sleek and beautiful.
It makes me laugh to think about the boys queuing up for dinner. Mine are not nearly that polite. They chew with their mouths open, too.:-)
