We’ve noticed Ellsworth and Fergus playing together a lot lately.
They look happy together,
and seem to have a genuinely good time.
They don’t mind if Bernard or Nigel want to join in their fun,
but the play between Ellsworth and Fergus often seems to go on indefinitely.
While all the play was going on yesterday morning, Bernard was only interested in what time breakfast was being served. I think he was serious.

That is so neat that in a relatively short amount of time they all have settled in and bonded. I love the pictures of them playing and don’t know how you get anything done with all that going on outside your window. LOL

Until your boys and the 7MSN crew showed up on blogs, I had no idea that they had such fun personalities and loved to play so much. They are certainly easy to fall in love with!

Wonder if there’s a little “king of the hill” mentality going on? That last pic of Bernard is too cute – and yes, I think he was totally serious!

Boy, if that donkey was giving me that look, I’d definitely hand over the goods! It’s wonderful to see everyone getting along so well.

How interesting. I’ve always imagined them staying paired up in the original formation and didn’t expect them to change dance partners, certainly not this soon.

Breakfast is serious business. One of my three favorite times of the day (four if you count bedtime). Bernard is just trying to stay on top of things.
I love the pictures of all the interactions and am really glad that the group is getting along well.
I completely agree with Pat: I would never get anything done with all of that action/interaction going on…

I think it must be a mark of good temperament, all around, that the “new guys” have settled into the routine and the herd as quickly as they have.
You guys are good pickers. 🙂 Or maybe all donkeys are just fabulous? 🙂
