“Red Sky at night, sailors delight. Red Sky in the morning, sailors take warning!”

Glad to see that is a beautiful sunset!

Wow… it looks like the sky is burning up! Not that that would be a good thing…

I love skies like that. They are breathtaking.
Enjoyed seeing, in your photos, what we have not experienced lately. Thanks!

You know the best thing about sunsets like that? They grow more and more and more beautiful until y’just can’t believe it could get any better. And then they begin to fade to mauve and gray and STILL they’re beautiful!

    Did you hummingbird brood hatch?
    Did I miss that?

      June,

Couldn’t agree more on the sunsets.

Regarding the hummingbird… it would appear we’ve had a repeat performance from last year with that particular nest. We’re thinking that perhaps she was using the nest as a stopover since she hasn’t been back in quite a few days and upon examination, there are no eggs in the nest. Boo-hoo! In any case, we won’t be taking the nest down and will leave it for any other hummers who wish to use it. 🙂
