Awwwwwww – poor Nigel! He won’t let you put a fly mask on him? How are his eyes holding up? Poor baby….

      Nancy,

No fly mask for Nigel because we aren’t able to touch him yet. He’s doing okay though. In fact, when we spray fly repellant on Fergus, Nigel rubs his head and face against Fergus. 😀

Nancy already asked my question. 🙂 I’m glad he’s at least rubbing his face on Fergus and getting some protection.

Nigel helps himself to a share of Fergus’ fly repellant !? He must have figured out that it’s a good thing. And they call them “Dumb Animals” … I think NOT dumb at all !!

P.S. Did you see the latest post over on http://www.sheafferdonkey.blogspot.com ? Two more neglected and abused Donkeys rescued and now safe at PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary.

      Gayle,

I just came back over from reading about O’Sullivan and Simon. I have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat.

I think I shall try to compose myself now and give each of the boys an extra hug or ten tomorrow.

      I will never understand…

Nothing like a group drink at the watering hole. How cute! Love the B&W color contrast with Nigel standing out maskless.

I’m chuckling that Bernard is drinking alone. Guess the other boys are worried he’ll start a splash fight.
