So lovely these spring flowers, green foliage and succulents!
I struggle with the hungry ants that assault my garden…

Have a nice weekend, my dear.

      Sonia,

But I can see why the ants love your garden… so lush and green!

You have a nice weekend as well. xoxo

      Suzanne,

You’re welcome. I felt a bit like G.I. Joe crawling around yesterday. 😀

      Nancy,

It’s glorious, isn’t it? I was thinking about that last night… it’s a toss up for me between spring and summer. I do love summer too.

Hope you and your grandbaby are doing well!

No wonder we love Spring so, both for the actual happenings and for the metaphorical meaning. So much hope and beauty! Thank you for this post this morning.

    Happy, happy green.
It always helps drive away the winter doldrums.

      CeeCee,

It sure does. I always have so much fun walking around the garden to welcome the plants back from their winter slumber.

Great macro shots. Some of my flowers are starting to grow too. What is the plant in the second photo? Love the purple edges.

      Shirley,

That’s bee balm. One of my very favorite flowers.

Yes…it is finally coming here, too. What a wonderful change. It fills me with hope and promise. Great things are coming!
I am also discovering some greening around here. We even had a few surprise tulips in blossom at our new home!

Oops, I forgot to thank you for doing your GI Joe exercises to get down to ant view for us. It certainly lends a great perspective to your shots.

I love lambs ear. Spring is springing over here, you can tell because half the people can’t breathe and the kleenex boxes have shown up everywhere.

You are making me anxious to get out and play in the dirt. We had a few days of rain and mud but winter has returned.
At least the fact that spring is arriving somewhere still gives me hope.

Look at how much your bee balm has come up just since I was there! They were just little nubs in the ground!
I see the light at the end of the tunnel…

The Cherry blossom is blooming right now though not at the peak, yet! I see some daffodils coming out in my neighborhood and it’s back to 40’s degrees over the weekend. 😦

Thanks so much for the lovely Spring-y photos. I needed to see something like that as we got 5 inches of Snow on Wed which duly burried the tiny little sprouts that had started to emerge. It’s still below freezing, but the sun is strong and the snow is retreatung again. Spring will not be denied !

It’s all so beautiful! But Spring has brought only a little more snow to us in SW Iowa – mostly melted, but more coming. Thanks for showing me what Spring really looks like!

You have actual tulips already. I’m SO jealous. Though my plants are starting to bud up, I only have leaves.

I think I saw some crocus, though.
