Something so exciting happened here on Wednesday evening that I just had to tweet about it.

SO excited. Big breakthrough with Nigel. He’s discovered he LOVES having the inside of his ears rubbed. He’s actually asking to be touched.
I’m not sure how it happened, but Nigel was totally okay with it when I started rubbing inside his ears. Actually, he was much more than okay with it.
When I stopped, he approached me so I could rub his ears some more.
And getting this close to his face with mine? Never would have happened before. I admit I shed a tear when he allowed me to kiss his face.
And, if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, check out Miss Gracie Belle. Yesterday was her three-week anniversary at Morning Bray Farm.
And Patrick… taking after Bernard with his mischief.

You have him now, When they give you their ears, thats total trust! I’m so happy for both of you. It’s been a long road for him but now it’s about over.
It looks like Gracie is going to come along fast. Good for her!

Wow, when it rains, it pours! Nigel’s practically in your pocket, Patrick’s personality is blooming, and Miss Gracie is showing them all how it’s done. You’re gonna have one heck of a weekend with all that rubbing and touching and nibbling going on. 🙂

My horse loved having the inside of his ears scratched as well. I guess it’s truly a spot they can’t scratch. Nigel is now won over and Gracie’s not far behind. She’s a smart girl, those donks know where the love is. 🙂

How funny…..all the loving coming at once. Maybe Nigel and Ms. Gracie Belle had a chat whilst ya’ll were on the trail ride and made a pact…”I will if you will”. And as for the Fuzzy One, time and trust and all that healing stuff. First a good touch trailer ride and now he’s trying to bust your buttons…happy boy.
