Happy Thanksgiving to all of you too!
We’ll have sunny skies and 40 degrees and more food that we’ll know what to do with….
Wait….is that possible? I can figure out what to do with a LOT of food!
I absolutely love that you do that. I remember you mentioning that last year and wish I had thought of it. I would just love to be eating a piece of pumpkin pie. Right now. 🙂
That’s been our tradition, too, since I was a kid! Pumpkin pie for breakfast while the turkey is cooking, pumpkin pie for dessert, and finally a sliver of pie before we hit the hay.
I thought we were abnormal, but I think it just might be the new norm. 🙂
In our family, it started when we were on a road trip to visit relatives for Thanksgiving. My parents liked to drive through the night. We arrived in Indiana too early to wake up the relatives, so we stopped in a nearby restaurant.
The whole place was filled with the scents of pumpkin pie — pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, pie crust. Mmmmmmm. 🙂
We had to have some for breakfast, and we realized that was a darn good idea……
🙂
I called my parents on Thanksgiving morning, last Thursday, and they couldn’t talk right then as they had neighbors in for pumpkin-pie-for-breakfast.
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, definitely including Paco. One of the things our herd is thankful for is your recipe for Paco treats. 🙂 Have a beautiful day. With pie. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to our favorite herd.
If wishes were donkeys then MBF would ride in style………..oh that’s right you do.

We always have pumpkin pie for breakfast, on Thanksgiving. Start with pie, end with pie, now there’s a good day. 🙂
