      Winter,

Yes, fortunately, we do water. 🙂

      Sometimes it’s easy being green

At least they are where they belong. 🙂
Question: Does eating a belly full of green, green grass bother (Founder or colic) donkeys like it does horses/miniature horses?

      CeeCee,

      🙂

It can. According to a study sponsored by the Donkey Sanctuary, researchers found that elderly donkeys, donkeys consuming too much feed, thin donkeys, donkeys suffering from musculoskeletal problems or dental disease, and donkeys who previously colicked were at increased risk. They also found that donkey colic lasted significantly longer than colic in horses, sometimes going on for days instead of hours. 😦
