He is really big! Amazing all the red (I don’t know the name of it…) under his beak and around his eyes.

The red under his bill and around his eyes are called “caruncles.” This is the most distinctive feature of Muscovy ducks. 🙂

Maybe he is not as bad as his eyes seem to indicate. Maybe all of the red around his eyes makes he look meaner that he really is. But on the other hand- I don’t know Gus. He could be a gentleman until another drake attempts to invade his territory? He is one handsome drake.
