Peonies are my absolute favorite flower! We moved a few years ago to eastern NC and planted 3 cultivars but it will be several more years until they are big enough to set bud. I can live vicariously through yours and can just imagine how good they are going to smell 🙂
Hope your clan of four footed creatures are doing well…

My favorite time of year! We aren’t far behind you. And just wanted to let you know the Sandhills Cranes have returned to Wisconsin!

Hugs to the herd and tell Don Hi from us!

I love peonies! My mom always had them in her garden. Sadly, I can’t grow them here in AZ 😦 How’s the herd doing?

      Rosanne,

They’re great. Nigel is actually finally starting to find his voice! How is Russell? ❤

I’m so glad to hear Nigel is doing so well. 🙂 Sadly, due to unforeseen life changes here, we no longer have our equine family. The horses are with a friend in CA and Russell is now living with a neighbor who has horses also. We can visit him whenever we want, which is nice.

Love the smell of peonies. Mine are growing but a ways from blooming.
