Is she cackling about the eggs hatching, perhaps? (Did they, did they?)

C,
No… she’s still sitting on the eggs, but I did see her up and about yesterday enjoying the warm sunshine. 🙂
As soon as she saw me readying the goat stall for the goats and sheep to return from the pasture, she was back on those eggs before I could say blueberry pie.

Suzanne,
No, they never did. I’m wondering if I should take them away from her so she can get on with her life?

Rosanne,
No, she really doesn’t! But she does look okay… and she’s eating and drinking. And it’s warm in the stall… and she’s safe. 🙂

And roar they do! 🙂 They and peacocks make such a racket, but I guess they make good ‘guard dogs’.
It’s probably time to take her eggs away. She’ll need to gain some weight back before winter really sets in.

CeeCee,
She did make quite the racket in her tizzy yesterday.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I needed permission from someone in the know that it was okay to take her eggs away.

Love those guineas! We used to have them when we lived in Washington state. It wasn’t until much later that our neighbors told us that they always squawked (what WOULD you call that sound they make?) under their bedroom window at three in the morning! Lucky for us, the old neighbors are still speaking to us, although via Facebook. I’m sure they are relieved to have some distance between us…

clairz,
They are noisy, but we love them. 😀 I’ll have to think about what to call that sound they make. 🙂

Great pic!!! Love it. The other day I tried leaving a comment and not sure if it went through. A pop up came up and said I was leaving comments too fast! Whatever the heck than means! Anyway, I dreamed of Bernard a few nights ago. Just of him standing there looking handsome.

Cindy,
It’s so good to hear from you! We’re so happy that you and your critters are doing well.
Bernard will be thrilled to hear that you dreamed of him. While we all know he’s handsome, I can’t believe he was just standing there in your dream! He wasn’t trying to chew on or eat anything? 😉
