Don and Bernard have a new game they play.
Don puts his finger in Bernard’s mouth.
Bernard pretends Don’s finger is a bit.
Barnyard appears to enjoy this game very much.
Sometimes Bernard closes his eyes in concentration as he’s chomping at his make-believe bit.
And sometimes he even puts a big, contented smile on his face. ♥

I bet he likes the salty taste!
Be careful, Don. Goober may decide to play rough and give you a good chomp!

Love the smile…..
Also love how one donkey doing something interesting means there are several donkeys right there checking out the haps. 🙂
Smart, curious, big ears … maybe donkeys are the corgis of the equine world?

You really have to cut it out—I might have to get in the car and drive straight to your house to play with your boys. Cuteness abounds!
The all seem to love attention as much as a good dog. Y’all have provided them with a wonderful place to live.

How I wish I could see your boys in person! Their photos are delightful, and I feel as though I could push my arms through the screen and around their necks! Thanks again for sharing.

I want to put a kiss on each velvet donkey nose. The photos are again very nice! You must have a good lens.

Oh geez, get that poor baby his own bit. I bet he wouldn’t mind a saddle. Or a cart to pull. I’m just saying… 🙂

June,
It’s possible… however… it seems that Bernard always loves to be chewing on something. 😀 😀 😀
