Ellsworth has a kind heart.
Just yesterday, he shared a tasty stick with Patrick.
And then gave him a hug. ♥

Ellsworth must love his position as Head Honcho in Shangrala. What a gentle leader/big brother he’s become. 🙂

And where is Bernard hanging out these days? Is he everybody’s bud now?

Flartus,
He was hanging out with me while I was snapping photos… you know, trying to eat the camera strap and sucking on the back of my coat… 🙂
But yes, Bernard is and I think always will be everybody’s bud.

Oh, Ellsworth, well done! What a great big brother you are. Can’t wait to kiss that nose for real (instead of leaving a smeary spot on my monitor).

Ellsworth is such a kind and gentle soul-I love that he has bonded with Patrick. I wonder if he tells Patrick that he understands what he has been through, having been a junkyard donkey himself, and that he is finally safe and loved in his new home? What a good big brother he is. Please give him and all of the Burrito Banditos a kiss from Colorado!

Oh, I absolutely love this posting. Ellsworth is such an old soul and knew from the start that Patrick needed a little special attention. I would just love to hug Ellsworth and tell him I think he is very very special for taking care of Patrick. Kisses on his soft nose:-))

Patrick and Ellsworth – who foresaw that particular pairing? I know I sure didn’t. But I love it – a lot!
And look at how nicely your pasture is greening up. Delicious. 🙂

Lots & Lots of Hugs and Kisses for Ellsworth
OOOOOOXXXXXOOOOOO !
He reminds me of my late Boomer (Quarter Horse). He used to rule a paddock full of boarder’s horses with just “The Look”, but never laid tooth or hoof on any of them and was ALWAYS the first to make a new addition to the group feel welcome even to the point of sharing his hay pile with them.

Yummm stick!! Ellsworth looks gentle, but something more, there is a wisdom and peace about him. I still think of him opening the gate for Patrick to let him in with everyone. What lovable beings they all are. How dear they are. And how glad I am that they share your loving home.
