    Awwwwwwwwwwww.

Good boy, Paddy-pat-pat! Sweet, and a friend in need.

Good boy, Nigel — brave and moving forward.

I’m so glad Nigel finding is way in the herd now, with Fergus gone. Tough transition.

Perfect! I’m so happy for Nigel, he couldn’t have a better brudder. 🙂

Patrick’s hard to tell from Bernard & Gracie, now that’s lost some of that shag! Hey, here’s an idea for a post: a tutorial highlighting how different those gray burros can be.

This is sheer joy to see them play and cavort like that. How fabulous is that?
In the second photo there is a leaf over Nigel’s eye in such a way that it looks like a mask (sorta). Ry wants to know if Nigel is going to be The Green Lantern for Halloween, which GK to ask, “I wonder if MBF is going to dress the boys and Gracie up for Halloween?” So? tee hee

So happy for both those boys. Does Gracie rough and tumble with anyone yet? Or groom with anyone?

      Denise,

No, not yet. Gracie’s still being quite prim and proper. If I have to pick the one boy that she’s interacting with more than any other so far, it’s Nigel. Interesting, isn’t it?

I’m so happy that Nigel has a new best bud…but seeing Patrick cavorting around with Nigel is even more exciting. It’s hard to believe he was that sad little donkey we first met. 🙂

awwww…how wonderful for both of them. Patrick learning more and more how to be a donkey, and Nigel having a new best bud. How sweet to see them playing together.

In the first picture, it looks like Patrick is playing the part of an angel, and Nigel has something up his sleeve…

Patrick has a very expressive face. Now that we can see it.

    Hee hee.

I’m pleased to hear that the herd is rearranging to take account of recent changes.
