Do the donkeys like those treats too?
I’d forgotten you have goats for a minute–remind which goat is which.

      CeeCee,

Oh, yes, the donkeys like those treats too. The goats though, have gotten into the routine of expecting one each every evening, and they’re quite vocal about it.

      Goats:
      White – Meggie
      Brown – Leland
      Black – Abigail

Yes, but don’t the donkeys expect an apple every day as well? Such little piggies. 🙂 One of my dogs camps out by the pantry (where the treats live) every time any human is in the kitchen.

        CeeCee,

Yes, the donkeys expect an apple (Granny Smith) every day at lunchtime (I cut one apple into ten pieces for them). Before that, though, they expect two baby carrots each as I’m leaving for work, along with a sufficient number of scritches to tide them over until I return. 😀

Most of us thrive on routine, don’t we? 🙂

        Your dog is smart. 🙂

Hmm…looks more like “The goats who get people to feed them peppermints.”

I hope no donkeys were slighted during the filming of this activity. 😉

I wouldn’t have thought peppermints would be a big hit with goats, but I guess everyone likes a breath mint, now and then.

Adorable faces! I was just thinking yesterday that we don’t see many posts about your goats. Glad you read my mind! 🙂

Oo! Oo! I want to feed peppermints to goats. I have fed strawberries to burros and that was pretty awesome. 🙂 Love your blog!
