Perfectly placed moon(!), beautiful skies, beautiful tree. Most of the leaves around here blew away before we could enjoy the colour!
What time does the sun set in NM? At the moment it’s at about 5.30 here on Skye.

      Christine,

We’re happy to share some of our color with you since you didn’t get to enjoy yours. 🙂

The sun will set this evening at 6:11 p.m. here in New Mexico.

Oh yes I saw the moon right away. A very nice photo!
The trees look so wonderful this time of fall and your sky is very impressive.
Mother nature means well to us.

How beautiful! What kind of tree is featured in the first photo? (Other than a perfect donkey-shading tree…)

      Shirley,

      That’s a cottonwood tree… and yes, a perfect donkey-shading tree. 🙂

What a gorgeous set of shots! Wow.

Love the moon through your sign. 🙂 I took a pic of the moon next to some twigs at the tip of a tree branch yesterday………. 🙂

The tree color is stunning. Most of our trees have lost their leaves due to the two snow storms with a third predicted for the weekend. The moon knew you were taking pictures and set itself up for that perfect shot.

Thanks for pointing out the moon. I wouldn’t have noticed it as I was ‘lost’ in the sign! Don’t you just love the show that nature puts on for us?!
