We had white muscovies growing up on a lake in Florida. LOVED Linda my white duck. She would follow me around when playing. Now Jim – her hubby was a different story. I had to carry a stick around with me to keep Jim away and he attacked my baby sister when she came outside. Needless to say – we had baked duck one Sunday for Dinner!

Very sweet photos of your ducks. They have such interesting features and I never knew one had blue eyes.

What lucky duckies to live at Morning Bray farm! I agree with Denise… they have very interesting features. I couldn’t stop staring at the close ups. I wonder what nature intended when it created the bumpy odd texture around their eyes. They are VERY cute : )

It’s been awhile since we have visited with the masked super ducks. They are so kewl looking. I love the little round protuberance on the lovely Izzy where her beak meets her face. Such sweet blue eyes.
Are they okay after the terrible winds????? Are you all okay. The wind stripped part of our back fence and I have no idea where my wind chimes are. That gust was almost like a down draft. Scary wind.

      Linda,

We’re all okay after the terrible winds yesterday. We actually kept everyone in the barn… just in case. It was definitely scary windy!

I’m sorry about your fence and your wind chimes. 😦

They grew up so pretty. Have they had their first birthday yet? Might be a bit early yet, I guess.

    Such kind and benevolent eyes…..

I especially love the third and fourth shots — the kind look, the smile, and then the commentary….. 🙂

Are your Muscovies laying yet? I have one setting on her eggs and due to hatch in a few days. Can’t wait for the first ducklings of the year!!! Stevie@ruffledfeathersandspilledmilk.com
