Awww…good to see him getting out for a stroll. Will he ever be a riding donk? He has a great mind for sure (and what a goofball).

    Those goats were adorable!

      C,

Bernard is probably too small to ever be a riding donk. He wants to be a driving donk when he grows up.

Gosh, it is really spring down in NM! (envious) I’m Patrick-starved. How is he doing, adapting, is he like he’s always been in this happy place, does he still have hang ups, who is he bonding with the most etc ?? I’m begging for a long Patrick post! P.S. I like the way Bernard is taking Don for a walk 😉

Wow he’s such a lucky donkey, and I’m sure he has no idea–his antics could land him in permanent timeout with anyone less patient than you two. Instead, he gets to go out and socialize.

Bernard’s like the Curious George of Donkeydom. Better buy Don a yellow hat! 😀

And Bernard really, really loves it. Don was saying yesterday that Bernard is the “Goodwill Ambassador of Morning Bray Farm.”

Beautiful animal colors. Did Don bring home the goat kids? I would have tucked one in my pocket.
I see that Bernard is preparing to take walks by himself in the last picture. 🙂

I do seem to remember saying to Don, “I want those baby goats!” 😀

      They were SO cute.

And yes, Bernard is a big fan of walking himself. 🙂

    I *love* donkey walks!
Now wouldn’t it be funny to see all your boys out in halters and lead ropes, walkin’ the neighborhood? You’d need a few extra human hands, that’s for sure – but what an adventure that would be! 🙂

Oh, what fun!! I completely agree with Cee Cee – I would have been tempted to “kid-nap” a baby goat.

I love that your surroundings are greening up. I noticed tree buds up here and I’m sure my lawn is starting to grow under the winter accumulation of debris…

The cows are the most beautiful red color — even their noses match color. I love how curious and friendly they look. I think they’ve been taken care of with love. The little kids are absolutely adorable. And I loved seeing Bernard enjoying his neighbors as he took his walk with Don. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life. 🙂
