This is a message for the newspaper delivery man.

Hi. Um, we love that you always deliver the newspaper on time, but because we have donkeys, we have a huge favor to ask.

Could you please not throw the paper so that it lands leaning up against the fence? Thank yew sew much.

If we had checked donkey teeth for newsprint…

Celebrating one year

It was one year ago today that Bernard and Ellsworth made their world blogging debut.

Since then, we’re thankful that our herd has grown to include Fergus and Nigel. 

We’re so thankful every day for each of our four-legged children.  All 14 of them! We’re also incredibly thankful for the many wonderful new friends we’ve made this year because of this blog.

In addition to being the gentle soul that he is, Ellsworth has established himself as the sentinel here at Morning Bray.

He’s always the first to spot everything…

…and anything.

He’s steadfast and refuses to be distracted from his job.

So many words are appropriate to describe Ellsworth. To name just a few:  loyal, constant, faithful.  What an amazing boy.  We absolutely love him.
